Good Morning Fans of the Fork!

“It’s Miii-iiiine! Don’t give it away…”  Oh yeah, our first official CD is coming together!  Last night we spent a LOT of time cleaning up ‘Mine’ and crowd favorite ‘Front Porch’.  Thomas at Silver Ant took the tracks that Tommy recorded and worked a little magic.  The tracks are sounding great!  We had a great time, and Jay made it through the night without falling over anything.  We’re looking forward to November and laying down a few more tracks for the final CD.  Toaster Fork!…  What a great hobby.

A few times a year we pack up our stuff and practice somewhere other than the official Fork! practice space at Nate’s. Usually it’s because one of the understanding, and more importantly, accepting, band wives is away. Last night the band practiced in the Ash basement in Northfield. After practicing Warm and Fuzzy and Iowa Hog in preperation for our Silver Ant Session coming up on the 26th, we had a little extra fun… Another magical, creative night for the Fork!
