We’ll be playing at Art Org’s “Going to California (building) with a Boatload of Art” event on 11/28. This will be at the California Building in Minneapolis. Go to artorg.info for more information.

We’re playing again! This time it’s a FREE family friendly event! Music starts at 7 pm, rain or shine (pray for shine!). Bring a blanket, a frisbee, and have a picnic dinner under the 100 year old Oaks that populate the park. Oh, and there’s a world famous waterfall a fork’s throw from the stage. By the way, this will mark a first in Toaster Fork! history: playing for 3 times in one year, and doing it within a 2 1/2 month period. Excellent, high-quality T-shirts for sale. Well, for those of you that were there… THANK YOU VERY MUCH! We did’nt expect a huge crowd; Your singing back of “Hey Hey” to us totally made the evening. Crowd paricipation? We never expected it. Again… thanks so much. We’ll see you on the 3rd of August for the show under the stars. You can teach the rest of the crowd what a “FORK LIFT!” means.

Here is what Crash had to say about the show,

“Our first outdoor gig went well! “First outdoor gig?” you say? ” What
about Minnehaha Falls two years ago?”. Well yes, we DID play in an
open air venue two years ago, but there was a roof over our heads because it rained that night!  Sunday’s venue was a medium-sized stage in the middle of a park, and
officially qualifies as ‘outdoors’… Take a look at the photo’s from
the day and see for yourself.

Other then a curmudgoeny sound guy with ridiculous limitations on the
gear we could use, the show went well! We’ve heard from those in the
crowd that we sounded good. We wouldn’t know because we
couldn’t hear ANYTHING on stage outside of Drum Dick. No vocal or
guitar monitors back at us for the show, but we survived, and learned
a little about band communication along the way.

The weather was good, and we had more fun hanging out with Fork fans on Jay and
Paula’s “garage deck” after the show. Until next time! ”
